Food fuels us and brings us together. At Voqal, we believe cookies offer some of the best energy for collective action. There are so many flavors, shapes, sizes, and textures. They can be sweet or savory. They can call forth warm childhood memories from familiar aromas. They can introduce us to cultures and traditions from a variety never tried before. They remind us we are a beautiful, diverse community. While we can’t mail everyone the cookies they deserve for being out there, doing the work – at least not yet – we wanted to share favorite recipes from some Inside Voqalists.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
The classic. The go-to. The one that’s never left on the cookie tray (we see you oatmeal raisin). There are many variations out there. Some chunky, some chewy. All delicious. This one is worth adding to the mix. Get the recipe here.
Chocolate Whoopie Pie Cookies with Caramel Filling
A sandwich and cookie lover’s dream, these whoopie pies offer a twist on the traditional vanilla filling. If you’re feeling a little extra in the moment, check out the variation. Get the recipe here.
Coconut Cookies
This vegan, soft cookie offers an alternative to the classics if you want to mix things up. No stand mixer required. The coconut flavor is subtle, but the flakes add texture and chew any cookie lover can appreciate. Get the recipe here.
