To Apply

Please submit your resume and answers to the questions below at careers@voqalpartners.org. Please put Executive Assistant in the subject line of the email.

Instead of a cover letter, submit your answers to these questions:

  1. Using 250 words or less, tell us what leader, movement, or writer inspires you and why.

2. Using 250 words or less, tell us whether you view this position as a gatekeeper or a gateway and why.

3. Using 250 words or less, tell us how you ensure everything gets done and nothing falls through the cracks. Describe a long-term project and how you kept it on schedule.

4. Using 250 words or less, tell us about a time when you noticed something wasn’t quite right in a conversation or meeting, like an unspoken message or a hidden agenda that others missed. What did you pick up on and what did you do with that information?

A written narrative is a clear and straightforward way to share your thinking, and many successful candidates chose that route. That said, you are welcome to answer the questions with a short presentation (up to 10 slides total) or an audio-visual file (up to 4 minutes total). Choose the approach that helps us understand you best.

AI Protocol

We understand that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a part of everyday life. We don’t ignore that reality, but we’re hiring you, not your AI assistant. You may use AI for basic proofreading tasks (such as grammar, spelling, or clarity), as long as the core content and ideas are your own. If you use AI, be transparent. It will not count against you. It shows thoughtfulness and integrity.

Please do not use AI to generate your responses, either for written submissions or live interview questions. We want to understand your judgment, voice, and problem-solving style. If the main substance of a written submission was created by AI and not you, that’s a no-go. During live interviews, AI tools should not be used to produce or display answers.
